Safety and supervision
This is an availability enquiry, not a booking. Before you pay, ask for written terms naming the safeguarding lead, supervision arrangements, incident procedure, medical-data process, media-consent terms and cancellation terms.
A guardian travels with every child
We accept no unaccompanied minors, in any format, at any age. The legal guardian books, travels, stays in the same room, and remains on site for the week. Guardian presence is an attendance condition; it does not replace Gymnasia's coaching, supervision, safeguarding or incident-response responsibilities.
The guardian does not train
This camp has no adult programme. You are there to accompany, observe and support your child, not to participate. If you want to train in Georgia yourself, the adult camp at bjjcamp.ge is a separate booking in the same building.
How sparring is matched
The enquiry asks for age and training experience so the proposed group can be reviewed. Before payment, the written terms must confirm group size, coach-to-child ratio, pairing criteria and how every round is supervised. A child may stop a round at any moment for any reason.
Which submissions are legal, by age
Permitted techniques differ by age, governing body, gi and no-gi. Before payment, the written terms must identify the ruleset and age-appropriate restrictions that will apply to your child's group and dates.
Equipment
Protective-equipment and packing requirements must be confirmed in the written booking information before payment. Do not rely on a generic list when requirements can vary by age group and ruleset.
Medical information
The public enquiry form collects no medical information. Before Gymnasia asks for allergies, conditions, medication or emergency contacts, it must state the secure collection channel, who can access the data, how it will be used, and the retention and deletion period. Do not put sensitive details in the enquiry notes.
Facility access
The guardian must remain on site and readily available throughout every session. Facility access, handover and child-release arrangements must be confirmed in writing before payment; this page does not claim security controls that have not been ratified by the operator.
Insurance
Arrange travel and medical insurance covering contact sport for both of you before you fly. We'll confirm exactly what our own cover does and does not extend to in your booking terms — read it rather than assuming.
Photography and media
The child photographs currently published on this site have confirmed releases. An enquiry does not grant media consent. Before payment, ask for the camp's specific consent and opt-out terms, and do not send photographs or identity documents through the enquiry form.
If something goes wrong
Before payment, the written booking information must name the incident and escalation procedure, responsible staff, emergency contact route, and medical-facility or transport plan. A guardian is present, but that does not replace the operator's response duties.
Your child's data
The enquiry form asks for your child's age and training experience and nothing else — no surname, date of birth or medical detail. You are the contact for this enquiry. Any later consent must be specific to its stated purpose; being the contact is not blanket consent.
